Matt Craig is 43 years old and was born in Scottsburg, IN, where he serves as the Lead Pastor of First Christian Church. He has been married to his wife, Farah, for 17 years and they have 5 children. 3 Biological and 2 Adopted.
Their adoption journey started January 31, 2013. In Matt’s words, “Our journey was filled with joy, celebration, disappointment and many setbacks, but we knew that God had placed this on our hearts and we knew that we were in his hands… it’s been that way every day since!”

Foster to Adopt
More than 25 percent of children in foster care are waiting to be adopted. Learn basic information and how to begin the process of becoming a certified foster home in Indiana. Attendees will learn the DCS mission and discover more about the children in need. There will also be in-depth discussions about the process, training and foster parent requirements.
Private Domestic Adoption
In this overview of domestic adoption, learn about openness in adoption, characteristics of the children being placed through private domestic adoption, home study requirements, the matching process, and how to choose an agency or attorney.
